Tonight we got to talk to Miley Cyrus o#MostRequestedLive! Check out the highlights and listen to the full interview with Maxwell below.

On the main message she wants to get across to people listening to "Malibu":

"I hope it inspires anyone that's writing -- my fans that write songs, or other artists, or when I go back to 'The Voice' -- sing your truth. Wear what you want, be who you want, say what you want... find that freedom as an artist."

On her little sis Noah Cyrus:

"I'm her #1 fan. I always say this, I think Noah's the coolest person that I know. What I love about Noah is she is a true music lover. I've genetically taken on my Dad... I listen to the same song over and over again. Noah is always listening to new music and introduces me to everything. She's hip!"

On the reaction she's gotten to her new sound:

"I think everyone's being super understanding and receptive of change and allowing me to be who I am right now, and saying that might not be me tomorrow, that might not be me next year, that might not be me on the next record, but allowing me to be who I am right this second... Giving me the space to grow and to really accept my happiness and be genuinely stoked for me. I think everyone is really truly happy I'm happy."
